Sunday, February 4th was the date of the 2024 Grammy Awards, but the real action was at Aurora Central Library where we hosted the annual AMTA Goes To Hollywood! event. Around 30 of our star students performed themes from movies, TV and games for a packed crowd of enthusiastic family and friends!
Oscars Attire Welcome!
Students are encouraged (but not required) to play music from their favorite movies, TV shows or video games at this gala celebration. There will be photo opportunities with our Giant Oscar cutout, and each student performer will receive a small, gold, Oscar like trophy. Come walk the red carpet with us!
AMTA sponsors four student recitals throughout the year. These recitals are designed to offer performance opportunities for the growth of our students and the enjoyment of their families.
By submitting an entry to this recital program I am agreeing to the following:
1) I grant permission to the Aurora Music Teachers Association (AMTA), on behalf of the child/entrant, for the use of photos and/or videos taken during this event for the Association’s publications, website, Facebook page, and/or YouTube channel for the purpose of educational announcement.
2) I also grant permission to print the name of the child/entrant on the AMTA’s publications, website, and the first name with last name initial only on the AMTA’s Facebook page and YouTube channel for the purpose of educational announcement.
3) I agree to indemnify, release or hold harmless the above association, its agents or representatives, from any claims or causes of action arising or related in any respect to the event or the child’s/entrant’s participation in this event.
